On 1 July 2020, an era came to a close when Bus 116 – the last remaining ACTION Renault PR100.3 – was retired from service.
The first buses to operate in Canberra were three Graham Dodge Charabancs, two of which were purchased in 1922.
Kingston Depot closed on Sunday 5 July 1992. The days before the closure were filled with activity transferring the more than 100 buses which operated from Kingston.
Canberra was the first Australian city to operate articulated buses and currently has a fleet of 44.
