* It was ordered by ACTION as an extension to an STA Sydney order.  
* It was fitted with a Sportworks DL2 bike rack in November 2011.
* After leaving ACTION, it operated for Surfside Buslines (605), rego 605-BQF (QLD)
* Between February 2015 and July 2015, Bus 856 was in use as a training bus at Tuggeranong Depot.
* It was withdrawn from Surfside's fleet in October 2012.
* In July 2015, it was replaced as training bus by [[BUS 882|Bus 882]]
