Had locomotives ('power cars') 2000 and 2009 on the Mel-Syd Daylight today, both in fairly fresh liveries. Loco 2000 was the lead unit. Pretty close to full load on the co-ordinated Makeham's - CountryLink 'road coach' from Cootamundra to West Row Bus Station, Civic (via GDE and Parkes Way).

50th anniversary of the launch of the 'Southern Aurora' occured last month; many of the Aurora cars are now preserved in operational condirion by ARHS ACT @ Kingston.
