Items on BBC World last week, reporting on the leasing of surplus Spanish light rail vehicles for use in Sydney's expanding light rail system....these vehicles have seen virtually no use in Spain to date.
The construction of the Spanish provincial system concerned was nearing completion when the European debt crisis struck and the brand new light rail link was abandoned.
