Qantas grounds planes over landing gear fault

Five of Qantaslink's Bombardier Q400s will be out of service for about a week so repairs can be done.Qantas is cancelling dozens of flights between Canberra and Sydney this week because of faulty landing gear on some planes.

The carrier says another overseas operator has revealed problems with a main part of the landing gear.

Qantas says it is contacting affected passengers and will operate extra flights but there will be minimal disruption.
