Title: ACT Election 08 - a "Hung Parliament"
Post by: Jack Bauer on October 19, 2008, 11:46:07 AM
So we're looking at 7 Labor; 7 Libs; and 3 Greens.

An interesting wash-up from yesterday.

Will the Greens (as predicted) side with Stanhope or will Zed convince them to jump on board? Either way, an evenly balanced assembly is a good result for Canberra.

Good result - as long as we don't end up with Zed.

I almost shuddered when i saw Pratt and Smyth's names on the ballot paper.

Can anyone bear the thought of the Greens holding the balance of power - let alone the chance that they might get a ministry! - or is it just me?
I can see Lab/Lib ganging up on the Greens on some issues that's assured...

I would think the Greens would be quite active in increasing the funding of public transport. Let us wait and see.
