Also taking into account AOQ951's sightings at Woden Depot, the following vehicles will be marked as withdrawn on the Wiki:

120 - 125
132 - 140
857 - 859
861 - 862

Total of 20 buses.

But why not 858, 860, 863 & 124 as well?

Presumably mechanical reasons

Busnerd

Why store the Tuggeranong PR100.3's? Those ones rarely get used and probably have less K's than the belco ones

Barry Drive

863 is also at Woden depot plus one other, unidentifiable, .2 - either 860 or 871. Need some in service sightings (or buses moved at Woden) to know for sure.

Barry Drive

870 & 871 both now at B depot (bike rack attached). No sign yet if anything has been transferred or stored in their place.

Barry Drive

All PR100.2s previously reported at Woden Depot have now gone - presumably returned to service at T depot. PR100.3s remain.

Barry Drive

399 has recently moved to B depot. Unknown whether 398 has also transferred or if anything has been withdrawn or moved the other way.

Barry Drive

398 now confirmed at B depot and 873 has gone back to T. Still have not had a sighting of a possible Dart replacement (for 149) at Tuggeranong: 150 most likely.

398 a good bus....as are all in the Tuggy ex-Redex fleet.

Bus 400

Bus 122 is now parking at Tuggeranong Depot after a few months at Woden. Presumably this is to replace Bus 101 after its little incident this week.

Barry Drive

Confirmed that 122 will be T depot trainer and 818 decommissioned. The stored 3's at Woden will be rotated as trainers.

818 decommissioned.

With Bus 818 being transferred to Woden Depot this afternoon.

Barry Drive

Bus 988 is possibly the next Mk2 artic to be transferred to Tuggeranong. Might be sent over today - will check this when I get the chance.

Have confirmed 988 was transferred to T.

Another round of bus swaps has occurred. 860, 862, 863, 875 and possibly one other PR100.2 have been sent to Woden Depot in the last week or two in exchange for 5 Darts. (Or 4 PR100.2 for 4 Darts - not entirely sure.)

Bus 400

Bus 150 is now back at Tuggeranong Depot.

King of Buses

Bus 708 at Tuggers depot. Had her this morning.

Buzz Killington

Mm, saw it on a Tugg route on Thursday.

Has 983 gone to Tuggeranong? Saw it yesterday on a route I thought was operated by a Tuggeranong bus. I can confirm that on Monday.

smitho

Noticed Belco bus 903 parked down with the Tuggy Renault artics at Tuggy Depot on Sunday; was still there yesterday so seems likely this is another transfer bus....Tugg Depot could certainly benefit from getting more PR2s back into its fleet.

smitho

Another Belco transferee is 983....currently at Tuggy Workshop receiving thorough going over in preparation for resumption of school term shifts in February.

903 has been at Tuggeranong for a few years now.

I recall in the late 90s, Belconnen had 881-894 and 896-915 and Tuggeranong had 895. Around 2000, 896-903 got sent to Tuggeranong. In 2009, 895-903 went back to Belconnen, although 903 returned a few days later.

smitho

Well, there you have it! I must try it out sometime.

120-125 have been moved from Woden to Tuggeranong. Not sure if any buses have from Tuggeranong to Woden.

smitho

Surely Belconnen Depot would be more deserving of these wonderful buses??? :popping:

Barry Drive

Not sure that 6 buses will be enough for the (as yet unannounced) February timetable changes. Some PR100.2s and/or Darts may also be reinstated. They might also have to transfer some MANs T to B for the Centenary Loop service.

Can now confirm 100% that 873 & 876 are stored at Woden Depot.

Barry Drive

989 believed to have gone to T depot on Monday 21 January. That's the last of the PR180.2s from Belconnen Depot.

smitho

985 has been receiving thorough detailing attention this week as has 983.

708 has been parked out the front of the T Workshop for several days....

Bus 400

Tuggeranong's SNT buses look to be  returning from Woden Depot.

Only a handful (4 or 5) have turned up at Tuggeranong Depot..; bus parking space is at a premium at Woden Depot at present.

Barry Drive

Hino AC140 BUS 021 suffered some front-end damage this month (or recently anyway).

It has now been moved against the back fence of Woden Depot. Pending any information to the contrary, it will be considered as withdrawn.

It had a crash on the parkway IIRC.

route56

Is this that really old bus that does the special needs kids runs?

Buzz Killington

It's newer than almost any of the 'orange and blue' fleet (except for some Darts), but yep, one of those buses.

Don't have a photo of 021 on file, but here's one of 012:

Barry Drive

BUS 015 has joined 021 on the back fence at Woden Depot. Previously, 015 had spent much of its time at Belconnen Workshops, presumably being fixed. 015 is now assumed withdrawn, but like 021 this has yet to be confirmed.

This raises the possibility of new SNT buses. I could not found anything on the ACT Procurement website though.

Bus 400

Bus 004 is also separated from the other SNT buses. There are 2 unmarked, Government plated Mitsubishi Rosa's at Woden Depot.

I heard something from someone like a month ago about new SNT buses. I think they may have even picked which ones they want already. Apparently there is nothing similar to the Hinos available anymore. The Hinos can fit 3 wheelchairs. The Rosas and I believe all other ~20 seater buses can only fit two and still keep an acceptable number of seats.

004, along with 016, have joined 021 & 015 parked outside in-service area at Woden Depot. 006 is now parked against the front wall and may be the next candidate for withdrawal.

So far, 4 new Rosas have been sighted at Woden: 215-211, 215-212, 215-216 & 215-217. Based on the rego plates, at least another 3 are still to come?

Also at Woden: 877 & 880 have been stored.

The Love Guru

Nothing like storing Mk2 Renaults when Mk1s are still running around!

Barry Drive

Hino replacement is continuing: 4 more new Rosas now sighted 215-209, 215-210, 215-213 & 215-214. To fully replace the 10 Hinos, another 2 Rosas are likely 215-215 and 215-218 or 215-208.

Only Hinos left in the SNT shed at Woden are 007 and 010.

A few recent rego checks suggest that no more Fuso's are expected. With one of those regos ACTBusSpotter suggested is a lawn mower & the other a Holden Rodeo & the third being a front end loader.

Barry Drive

880 back in service - now at B depot.

That is a good bus, as are others in the 880 + family (especially 885).

Guess it is back home, where it started all those years ago.

The Love Guru

Bus 301 was noted being loaded on to a low loader and B depot yesterday, presumably for the long trip to Dandenong for major chassis repairs like its sisters. The loading wasn't without incident however and will require some significant repairs when it returns due to the bus being too low to be loaded easily.

Snorzac

Sure its not off to sims metal, I mean it must be almost a year since it last ran in service!

Sims probably rejected them, even scrap metal yards have standards to keep.

And cousins! I know of at least two in the then Fearnes fleet needed the same chassis work.

The good (?) news is that 309 has now returned, so expect it back in service soon.
