Post by: lukeo25 on March 26, 2011, 11:05:02 AM
Bus Lane enforcement
From 04 April, the next phase of Liverpool City Council's bus lane enforcement program will start along the bus lanes on:
County Road, Rice Lane;
Kensington, Prescot Road and East Prescot Road and
Wavertree Road, Picton Road.
Cameras will be used to detect drivers using bus lanes illegally and a £60 fine will be issued to those who break the law.

Canberra needs this

Sorry, I'm a bit dumb... do you mean people in cars using bus lanes?

If so, is it that much of a problem here?

Not particularly, you get the odd ignorant fool. More of a problem is tools in the Adelaide Avenue transit lanes going slower than I want to, ie whatever the bus will do. Even being a bee's dick behind them, hooking the horn and flashing the high beams often fails to get these dregs of society to speed up or change lanes.

I have noticed a few cars using the bus lane from Eastern Valley Way to Emu Bank/Cohen Street.
