Friday evening sightings;

Bus 327 died at Chisholm Shops while doing a northbound 67 then got towed away at 7:30pm, meanwhile 981 (or 982) was doing another 67 to Woden then broke down in Deamer Cres.

Toyota Hiace 214-671 and 672 have got the same livery as 214-712 wears.

Merv319

406 had some kind of trouble on Constitution Avenue near AusAid. Got fixed up and left there at 2pm.

Bus 400

A MAN 18.310 CNG was returned to Tuggeranong Depot early this morning. So early I could only just make out the shape of the bus.

Bus 400

Bus 715 died just short of City Bus Station this morning.
Bus 311 had a bladder control problem this afternoon & ended up pulling up on Flemington Road with water & steam pouring out.

Snorzac

smitho

Lanyon "accident": Unofficial report that motorist was driving with windscreen ice obscuring forward vision at time of prang.

Buzz Killington

Yep, that was what was in the Police media release, and our story - http://actbus.net/?p=1873

That could of been the "Transport Fire" that the ACT ESA Incidents page showed last week on Yamba Drive, Farrer near Long Gully Road.

Otherwise the only other was a Dart vs Scania CNG at Woden last Wednesday.

Barry Drive

152 was at the back of B depot workshops late last week: perhaps that was why. (Not there now.)

Yes, it must be the Farrer incident; the Woden Interchange Dart/Scania incident was quite separate, and from memory, occurred last Thursday, not Wednesday. That involved BUS 149.

Buzz Killington

Gotta love how well the Darts handle a slight incline...

Bus 400

Bus 116 became ill while heading south on Northbourne Avenue this afternoon.

Bus 400

Bus 305 & Bus 314 both became ill in the Belconnen Region yesterday. Bus 314 looked to go to the toilet when the bus was pulled over, but then again.........

King of Buses

986 back in service. The rear right panel is white just like 723 does.

Bus 400

Bus 982 was broken down on Antil Street (Dickson) yesterday evening with the mobile mechanic on site.

In the minds of selected Antil Street residents, it was a ploy by the bus driver to piss them off.

I don't think it was ever out of service. I saw 986 on the same day as its incident - with the white rear panel. (Fairly certain I mentioned it somewhere at the time.)

I feel somehow responsible for 723's white bandage panel....

Snorzac

Actually, it's at Belconnen - has been since Monday.

Also this may of been nothing, but a MAN diesel came to a very sudden stop on that dirt patch on Yarra Glen when the Police hold RBT's/speed checking (just before Cotter Road).

p_stampy

304 had it'd hazards on near radford,  then struggled up college St.

I forgot about all that when I saw it was the first MAN "Mk II" to be missing front fleet numbers.

Bus 354 was still blocking Eastern Valley Way at 23:40 & I saw no Tuggeranong Mechanic truck all the way home, so Sulwood Drive (where I turned off).
