Routes 555 and 556 - Area Buses for Kambah
AND WANNIASSA.

Sadly, and not surprisingly, the Tuggie Bus didn't survive too long. Much like most of the other local routes which didn't go to an interchange (like the Tuggeranong to Cooleman Court services and the North Belconnen to Kippax services).

What made the Tuggie Bus different was that it was operated with mini buses. This might have made it easier to navigate through the streets but would not have worked well if you had shopping or strollers.

There was a time (during school holidays) when I caught this bus from Erindale to Mannheim St and then walked across the bottom of Mount Taylor to Torrens - I don't recall many other passengers.

lol yes, and Wanniassa. My bad...

There's a few obvious signs around Allchin Cct in Kambah of former bus stops too.

if they run service more than every hour more people use them.
