Dream Bus Winners Announced

ACTION Director James Roncon today unveiled the winning designs from the ACTION 'Draw your Dream Bus' competition.

"Young Canberrans were recently invited to participate in a competition to design their own interpretation of a dream bus and to tell us in their own words why they enjoy catching the bus," said Mr Roncon.



"Over 180 entries were received from children across the ACT and the winners will have their designs printed and displayed inside ACTION buses for 12 months."

Mr Roncon said that the competition was a great way to engage ACTION's younger audience and encouraged them to think about how they travel. The demographic is one of our largest ambassadors and are certainly key to changing travel behaviour and influencing more sustainable modes of transport in the future. "

Three-year-old Adam Wadley won the under fours category and said the best part of taking the bus was sitting on the back seat and ringing the bell.
