Was trailing 880 along Athllon today and noted that like many other Belco standard buses, its engine bay cover had been recently repainted. The duco on these covers suffers far more than most other external panels due to engine heat, so repaintings are certainly warranted.

Noticed also that it was missing its zebra stripes (as with a number of other Belco standard buses). Then there are the buses where the stripes have been applied upside down !!

Had 765 for some morning runs today - pretty good bus although speed limiter cuts in at only 82 or 83 km/h..

The whole of 880 (not just the engine bay) would've been repainted fairly - after the last AOA Wrap (ANU) was removed, the Botanic Gardens livery would still have been painted on underneath.. It still looks odd to me seeing 880 as a 'naked' bus

Thanks - yes, I noticed the rest of the livery looked very smart and fresh.

Gotta love their strike rate on nicely painted Renaults. Pretty sure it's about the only one that is!
