A man was punched in the face and had his mobile phone and bag stolen while walking near the Woden bus exchange last night.

About 8pm the man was walking on Bowes Street, Phillip when he was approached by two males who threatened him and demanded money. The second offender was described as Caucasian, aged in his late 20s, about 178cm , with a solid build, short brown facial hair and was wearing a black and white black camouflage hooded jumper and a New York Yankees baseball cap with a similar black and white camouflage pattern.
