Today I operated a Woolworths Staff Shuttle and a route 997 Optus - Parramatta shuttle. I had no idea I would be doing these today, I just thought I was along to observe but it turned out I was made to operate the services and was secretly assessed on it.


Todays vehicle was 5294 - A CharterPlus Mercedes 0405 with custom coach body, A/C etc. Was quite a nice bus, it had saloon passenger radio, high back seatbelted seats for passengers and air con (not that it blows in the drivers area) and very nice loud hubs. I MAY! Be operating it tomorrow too if I want to, but I haven't decided yet, this was all practice to do a 997 special service on friday by myself and ahead of a long weekend of rail I will be doing too.


Only made one boo boo and that was after I put the bus in N when picking up pax, forgot to change it to D before releasing the handbrake
