Saw this car while driving on Monday. In case it's not clear, the slogan on the plate is "TO BOLDLY GO ..."

am i missing something? is the NCC1701 of some significance or is it just the "to boldly go" part?

NCC1701 (As I just found out) is the USS Enterprises' registration, with the tag line from Star Trek. Very very nerdy.
