While in Sydney last weekend, I caught up with some friends and we travelled out to the Epping-Chatswood Rail Link to see a K Set in the tunnel. K Set's do not venture onto the line, much like the C Sets, S, R and L Sets due to noise concerns. T and G Set's don't venture onto the line due to concerns of overheating in the traction motors. However, tests were performed a few weeks ago regarding T and G Set's on the line (Although figures have not been released).

Hey, nice shots of a fairly rare (for now) occasion there. Good work Todd!

What a beautiful piece of railway there, can't wait to sample it in the future.

Excellent photography especially "A View of the escalators and and OSCAR at Epping, Platform 5".
I tried out the line a few months ago and was pretty impressed overall - patronage was near capacity, even in off peak.

If only all the stations in Sydney looked like this one!

Excellent photos!
