Here are a few photos from my spotting session on a trip to Sydney a few weeks ago. These were all taken from the International Terminal observation deck.

First up Qantas 747-438 VH-OJS is seen landing on runway 16R after a flight from Johannesburg. This aircraft wears a special livery for the Socceroos which will most likely be replaced in the coming weeks for a Wallabies livery with the Rugby World Cup coming up this year.

Next up is another special livery, this one for Telstra Next G is seen on Jestar A320 VH-VQN, this livery is about a month old.

Qantas Boeing 747-438ER VH-OEH, 'Hervey Bay'  is seen pushing back from the gate for a long flight to San Francisco. This aircraft is one of six 747-400ERs made all of which fly with Qantas.

OEH at the beginning of it's takeoff roll on runway 16R

United Boeing 747-451 N105UA is seen getting towed to it's gate after a day on the ground at Sydney.

Next Qantas Boeing 767-338 VH-OGU 'Byron Bay' is seen landing on runway 16R.

Boeing 747-438 VH-OJP 'Albury'  is seen pushing back for a flight to Los Angles as QF11. This flight is usually operated by an A380 but due to restrictions at the time only 747s were allowed to operate it.

Virgin Blue 737-7Q8 VH-VBH 'Spirit of Salty' is seen arriving on Runway 16R.

Qantas A330-200 VH-EBL 'Whitsundays' is seen in Oneworld livery getting towed over to the Jetbase. The aircraft was later sighted in the Jet wash.

Last of all it is Jetstar A330-200 VH-EBB. This aircraft was originally delivered to Qantas for domestic operations before being transferred to Jetstar for long haul operations.

More plane spotting pictures shortly.
