Title: Transit Officer Question
Post by: RRR on January 27, 2017, 12:17:43 PM
What do the transit officers actually do when they board the bus (usually at city interchange), and take a ticket receipt off the driver?

From what I know from drivers, it's just punctuality checking. Recording how the buses are running to the timetable etc.

And from what I've been told by them when I ask the same question, it's that ^^ plus a few other details. It's basically the inspectors report, like what the driver would print off from the old (magnetic) ticket machines at the end of his journey.
