Car Chase Drama Last Night On Princes Highway

As we returned from our day of annoying stupid women in the pool who complained about being splashed (what does one expect!) and our takeaway food dinner at La Perouse, as we were heading back home down the highway from Miranda, as we passed the speed camera at St George Hospital, two marked and one unmarked police car came flying out of a side street and headed south...


Anyway, as we got to regent st we saw another police car waiting at the lights to turn right. We got down to rockdale plaza and two police cars came flying past and basically skidded up to the left past mcdonalds so we though shit somethings going down, anyway just as we got near the ambulance station and subway another police car was speeding back down the side street towards the highway.


We got about halfway through rockdale when this black golf gti when flying past at at least 150km/h, closely followed by two more police cars (only doing about 130), as we got up the forest road/wickham st another two cop cars went flying past, we assumed they would have caught the guy, if he had made it away he wouldve been stuck in traffic in newtown or something.


Anyway, as we got up to wolli creek we saw all the traffic stopped and about 5 police cars in the middle of the intersection. The golf had smashed into a pulsar turning out of wolli creek with an asian couple inside, their car got pushed about 20m down the road and half onto the footpath and the golf smashed into a lightpole. There were apparently three men inside the golf who all ran off after the crash, one man carjacked a car at gunpoint and got chased by two more police cars, one i believe was an FPV falcon, and the guy eventually crashed into two police cars at tempe and is now under police guard in hospital.


Pol-Air and the dog squad swarmed the area last night looking for the two men who escaped. Apparently they had robbed  a club at taren point, but left the proceeds in the car at the accident site.


About 200 people came out onto their balconies to watch or like us down on the street. There was about 10 police cars there, they closed the entire intersection except one southbound lane, and two fire trucks three ambulances and police rescue were all in attendance. It was a very big deal!

Watched the 11am and the online (which turned out to be a clip from the 11am) and Dean was not shown.

There is a video of him online, matt browne posted a link to it on facebook, ill track it down when i have time, but he was on the 11am news, but not in the first story, they recovered it later and also he was on the 6pm
