Here are some pictures taken quite some time ago of some runway 17 operations:

First of all Qantas 737-800 VH-VXF 'Sunshine Coast' is seen vacating the runway after arriving from Darwin.

Tiger Airways Airbus A320-200 VH-VNG is seen in it's landing roll with full reverse thrust.

The same aircraft is seen vacating the runway with the spoilers still raised.

VNG again now on it's way to gate 8.

Two generations of 737s, the 737NG (Virgin Blue's VH-VBJ) and the 737 Classic (Qantas' VH-TJU)

Virgin Blue 737-700 VH-VBJ 'Perth Princess' is seen rotating and climbing out for a flight to Melbourne.

Same aircraft with the landing gear raised.

Qantas 737-400 VH-TJU 'Currawong' is seen climbing out for a flight to Brisbane.

Climbing into the clouds.

A three part series from the next day will soon follow as well as more Sydney spotting, more Canberra spotting and eventually m Brisbane trip report.
