Next stop Nimmitabel, please disembark to visit Nimmitabel.

I am unsure what is going on with Nimmitabel Station as 5 or so years ago it was open for anyone to walk onto, last year someone was living in it & today the gate is closed & wired up. Anyway this didn't stop me (legally) getting photos (with some help from a good old friend zoom).

On a side note, I have been told that a Nimmitabel resident (who my grandfather knew) has a video of an old steam engine flying along between Cooma & Nimmitabel. But sadly I never got to see it before my grandfather moved to New Zealand.

A view of the freight sheds with "security", I think my dog sticking his head out the window scared them a bit as they came running over mooing.

On a side note, here is an old rail carriage that has been made into a house in Nimmitabel.

It was trucked to Nimmitabel in one piece & can be found as you approach Nimmitabel from the north. I was told the owner was trying to sell it a few years back, I am unsure of the outcome.

Sir Pompously

The carriage is a CF driving motor from a U Set (Nicknamed U Boats).
