Buzz Killington

Watching sunrise at the moment, and victoria has also copped some pretty serious bushfires, rivalling ash wednesday.

Snorzac

today we have hit 39.5, that was at 1432, I would expect it to reach 40 at least, maybe more, the last few days the temp hasn't peaked until 5pm we may break yesterday.

Buzz Killington

39.7 @ 1437

Don't know about Belco/Civic/Gungahlin but we're getting a bit gusty down in Tuggers.

Buzz Killington

both City and Tuggeranong currently sitting at 39.9

Irisbus Rider

There's a storm heading towards the Canberra region ATM, should be a doosy :D

Bus 400

It is starting in Kambah ATM. Going by the radar, some pelting rain is due. Also the Cookatoos went silly 30 minutes before which is a good sign.

Snorzac

Irisbus Rider

Irisbus Rider

So it was the radio station. I was trying to listen to the football and I thought it was my stereo.

Bus 400

Kambah had a fair bit of lightning & good steady rain, still light showers now.

Yeah, sorry about that, but as long as all of the listeners think that, we'll be fine!

Excitments over for tonight, should see the odd bit of lightning and isolated showers until morning.

Bus 400

Up the top of Kambah East we picked up around 5cm in my old dog bowl

However going by Country Energy Stormtracker (http://www.countryenergy.com.au/wps/wcm/connect/CEL/ce/others/weather/stormtracker2), it is a slow moving front that will last the next few hours

Busnerd

St George Leagues and half of carlton suffered a blackout last night, just as we finished our meals

Irisbus Rider

Ha ha ha. Generally speaking, you lot should really find somewhere else to eat.

Busnerd

No, its just sydneys power company is shit and whenever it rains something blows up.

Irisbus Rider

Expect some storms soon, bringing with it some very windy conditions.

YAY!!!! my fav weather storms and wind and the occasional power cut

Buzz Killington

just got some fairly heavy rain down tuggers, and a bit of wind.

Sir Pompously

I was starting up a Dash 8 out on the Tarmac and it started to piss down and got drenched! The wind made one of our flights go around, and prevented a few from taking off!
