[ACT] Beijing Torch Relay - City Interchange Relocation

The torch relay was supposed to represent freedom, truth, celebration among other things, but to thousands of Canberrans, it represented inconvinience. See, some smart cookie decided the Torch Relay would be carried out just after the morning Peak Hour, which resulted in traffic queues 6kms long, and traffic travelling at walking pace.
It also inconvinienced ACTION, as many of the roads that were closed were utilised by ACTIONs services, resulting in closures, and diversions. The City Interchange also fell a victim to the torch relay, having to be relocated, to the "City West bus layover".
I hope this series photos will paint a picture of the day as it unfolded.....

And to wrap up the excitment of morning peak, Dennis Dart SLF with Wright Crusaider body operating a northbound 34 is ready to leave, as Renault PR100.2 MkI 811 is heading out to Fyshwick on an 80.
