Sir Pompously

Not sure if I have posted this brochure yet.

I used to use this deal when working in the Parliamentary Triangle - for lunchtime trips into Civic to pay bills, shopping, banking etc.

Pity they no longer produce consolidated timetables like that for busy route portions - last time I saw one was for Northbourne Ave in 2007.

When is this from? I thought they got rid of the 3 digit route numbers in the early 90s but the email address makes that unlikely.

Looks to be 1997/98. Bus Book 97 is mentioned and the three digit route numbes were ditched when Network 98 was introduced.

Love the email address too.. action@netinfo.com.au?!

Interesting to note the majority of routes from the Inner South travelled via Commonwealth Av into the City rather than via Constitution/Russell. That difference in route would save a couple of minutes at least.

Thanks for the post, Sir Pompously.

Missed the bus book 97. When did Canberra get 8 digit phone numbers? I'd have said earlier than 97 but obviously not.

Mid 90s from memory. Somewhere between 94 and 96.
