I have found this link at http://www.tams.act.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0006/132747/Marconi.pdf which states that Summerland Circuit & Marconi Crescent Intersection in Kambah East will be shut from 02/02/09 to 09/02/09. This means that the above bus routes will have to deviate via
L Gallagher St
R Ferris St
L Summerland Circuit
R Drakeford Dr
R Marconi Cr
R Unknown Rd on Marconi Cr
Or maybe one of the bus driver members could help us out with this one?
If the buses aren't let through the area, they'll just go via Hutchison Crescent. You only miss two stops that way. It would be ridiculous to go all the way around Drakeford, and then do a loop around Marconi.
But Hutchison Cr isn't quite wide enough for 2 buses to pass by one another.
half of Gungahlin isnt either. They can just drive up on a footpath if they have to.
But they might let the buses through the roadworks. Its been known to happen.
I called 131710 this morning & the nice person on the other end had a look for me & they had no information on this closure.But was going to send an enquiry to higher up so that the drivers don't get stuck on Monday.
Roacs ACT lied to us. This intersection is fully open. I think that someone may of had the wrong month.
