Title: Centro properties Group Collapse - Hyperdome
Post by: Sir Pompously on December 17, 2007, 06:21:04 PM
It looks as though Centro Properties Group is set to collapse. Centro owns the Hyperdome (Centro Tuggeranong) shopping centre and many regional centres in the country, and is the 9th largest owner of shopping centres in the USA. Apparently, they have started closing down (Stopping trade) centres in the US and Australia, but that is sketchy reports and not exaclty solid at this time.

Articles can be found here, some are over two pages and no point to quote the whole lot from SMH to here.

the report on Seven News stated that Centro's Australian Centres will continue to trade as normal and that retailers will not be affected.  Their US Centres are likely to be sold off.
