VIN Numbers Needed

Since a lot of you guys are out on the buses regularly, we hope you can help us fill in a few missing pieces on the ACT Bus Wiki, and the ATDB Fleetlists maintained by 'Mini Mat'

Firstly we are after VIN (Vehicle Identification) Numbers for the following Buses. These numbers are located on the Registration Labels (the same kind you have on your car).

338, 339, 340, 362, 363, 364, 365, 366, 368, 370, 372, 373

We are also after the Body Number and Date for the buses above as well as 367 and 369 - which are located on the Custom Coaches plate inside the vehicle.

We also need 981 and 982 as well as body details for 991.

The only numbers that change in the VIN are the last 4 for the Scanias so you won't have to remember/write down every number just the last four

this might be of intrest, you place the any of the last 4 digits of the vin number in and the bus number e.g. BUS369 and 4227
and it put up details about the bus

For those unfamiliar with where to find the details, here is where to look:

The VIN/Chassis/ Engine Number on the rego sticker

The Customs Badge located at the entrance to the vehicle

Edit: Or as I just found out by looking at the plate under the customs one which has all the details needed

It is actually the last 5 numbers that change on the Scania VIN.

371=YS2L4X20001854249

and a guess at what 369 would be as I only got the last 4 digits would be YS2L4X20001854227 if we go by the details we get from 371

Running that number with BUS369 on the Rego Site works, so that's another one down.

I have updated the body number and date for 991 and the build date for 981 on the ACTBUS wiki. Given 981's body number is R2269, it's fairly likely that 982 will be R2270.

So an update: 338-340, 362-366, 368, 370 and 372-373 are needed for everything.

367 and 369 only need Bodydetails

Details have been added for 982. As suspected, body number is R2270.
