I forgot was 000 was. I think it was Stephanie.

Trust me 125 was quite awkward. Towards the end of the 64, he asked if I was a bus freak & no offense but need to get a life as he only sits where was if they pay him. I wish it was the good driver that had that shift last week though, as he is kinda one of us.

lukeo25

i have been asked if i am a bus freak sometimes when i was back in england when i used to get the bus 2 school by the driver because i used to get the same driver and same bus every day and i sat in the same seat, he probably thought i was a bit crazy

Looks like my morning 313 may have shaken of 342 off for the last week of school, my driver is a LEGEND! He has brought every MAN except for 380 and 381 for his shift now
anyway.....

My shift back then included the 313 out of Fraser West at 7.17am and my diary tells me on that day I ran it with 379. So I suppose I was your driver - the Legend!

Scania 342 ('Winston') was the shift bus, but I managed to get MANs instead as often as possible when I had that shift.

Snorzac

Ha, I am the guy that gets on the stop before Page shops and always gets a daily.

Irisbus Rider

Just buy a monthly, it's much cheaper!

Ah yes, I remember you, Mr Renault....or at least your ticket purchases.

Not many commuters regularly purchase a full fare daily.

I enjoyed doing that 313 - nice bunch of punters, even if it did get pretty crowded at times. One of the regulars gave me a great Christmas present.

Snorzac

Really, lol. I remember the day that you had to keep getting up to wipe the window on 382 because the demister broke, and the ticket machine was buggered.

Hmmm, yes, you've brought back bad memories - one of those days when things go wrong - every driver has'em!
On wet, humid days, the MANs fog up very quickly like a fishbowl, even with demisters working. It is one of their few faults.

Irisbus Rider

983, 882?, 762, 352 (with an MAN right behind, oops), 990, 898, 300, 100.2.

#431
3XX...with a driver that wouldn't let anyone off at Skyfire, so I threatened to call the cops.
387...with "Mr Brake your Horn glove man" (Driver that braked hard, constantly blew the horn and wore gloves.

Bus 400

Did he eventually let them off? But what would the AFP do?

Snorzac

I don't know, I wouldn't of done it. But gee did he open the doors quickly

Bus 400

I suspect he was a younger driver? As the older one may of fought back.

Snorzac

No it was a European driver. When I got on I asked if he stopped at Regatta Point and he said yes. Once there he was going to keep driving saying he wasn't stopping. He said we were meant to change at the city (no mention on ACTION website) so I gave him an ear full.

forgot number but got it twice (few hours apart)
PR100.2 MkII that was falling apart (side desto cover almost fallling off, ticket machine broken, rattling lots-even 700 is better)

Snorzac

Your Mk  II that was falling apart was probably 931. The side side desto cover has been broken on that for ages.

109 wasn't rattling that much when I got it John.

Irisbus Rider

Interesting. Everytime 109 drives past, I can hear the rattling!
