Title: CNG and articulated buses to go ?
Post by: route56 on February 08, 2009, 12:03:53 AM
I have heard that the CNG buses have been converted back to diesel - is this correct ?

I also understand that the articulated buses are being replaced.

The two prototype gas buses built in 1993 or 1995, whatever year it was, were converted to diesel as they were too problematic being an old gas system.

The old artics will be replaced by 14.5m tag axle buses.

We should still have 9 articulated buses (983 to 989) after we get the 14.5m buses though
