947 is still in the AOA, haven't seen the others this week though.
Anyone know why 948's was removed?
Because it looked pathetic, faded, off color and the AOA wrap was peeling off in areas.
They made the right decision IMO.
oh really? i hadn't really seen it up close.
947 is in a much worse condition than 948 was, just saw 899 in AOA and I saw 978 in AOA yesterday
977 also has the AOA still.
forgot to mention 758 is still in AOA
Yes, 948 is the only one to have the AOA removed to date.
The others will be removed eventually too.
Martin's reports on twitter that 108 is wearing a new AOA for ActewAGL/Transact.
QuoteBus 108 has an updated AOA for ActewAGL / Transact.
Cool, will have to get photos of it when I am next out!
Thought there might be one on the way, since their advertising has changed recently.
So can we assume large wind turbines?
I don't think Irisbus Rider appears in their advertising, so that'd be a no.
what the?
A board member is driving it tonight on a 13 so I am going to attempt a night shot of the new AOA outside my house

Ha ha ha, what a shame. And this after I just missed out on being in the Brindabella Christian College ads!
Pleased to see it's finally been updated, after being in a fairly poor state since its accident.
Picture coming in a few minutes, stand by.
Is the Floriade paint job underneath still?
I think so, the roof still looks cream anyway
It looks more professional compared to the previous AOA.

This AOA reminds me alot of the numerous liveries of 969 for the Canberra Centre. But i still think it looks good. :)
Never thought I'd say it but for a 'bus advertising' ad, it actually looks good!
Well you better get used to it, my source tells me there is another two Westfield AOAs coming, this is not an ACTION source...
It's from your mum isn't it.
Looks ok, just weird with an orange front.
Correct

hopefully they put it on 982 and 969 the naked buses.
NOT 982, it belongs within an Aboriginal/Reconciliation Livery like 990! :)
Word is that we may see our first "green bus" aoa...
Did anyone get a photo of it spending the day parked outside Westfield yesterday?

No sign yet of other Westfield AOAs but several PR100.3s now have large side ads between the front and rear doors.
Thanks to Bus 400 and Metrobus, 899 and 978 now carry all-over-advertising for IMB.

I saw 899 today and thought the new scheme looks good. I think it's a novelty though that now those buses are greenish and list locations along the roofline - rather similar to NSW Free Shuttles!
It's the best wrap I have seen on an ACTION bus since 982/990 launch, they looked great before they faded!

I assume we're to thank those two for the photos not the fact that these AOAs have been done.
I think the hi-vis buses look ridiculous.
It does look pretty stupid! I'm not a fan...but its an AOA and I'm always a fan of more of them...
The new AOA does look considerably good. But I would rather a new livery on 982. Also a repaint of 990 would be nice. Hopefully we'll see a newer bus with a AOA soon. (hopefully a stag!) :)
Happened across 978 today, it looks very nice 'in person'

So after one of us finally posted a picture, you get to see Bus 978 in real life.
Still looking 'odd' as of today. Blue and orange panels look freshly repainted so assume they are 978's original panels after the dings had been taken out.
Irisbus Rider's startling prediction may have come true - one of the two remaining 'Going your way' AOAs have been removed. Saw it from a distance but I think it was 977.
They left the strip of the AOA on the right hand side above the windows, though.

Some time in the past week, the Westfield AOA was removed from 991.
Tuggy bus 947 received AOA for the new Abode hotels in Tuggy and Gungahlin earlier this week.
Although not a fan of AOA, this one doesn't look too bad...

yes it is the same as 947
Ha, ha....I was driving 947 yesterday (10th April) from around 1100 to 1900 and left the bus there in the Hellenic layover while getting some lunch. I saw another gent taking a picture of it soon after I left it there.

When I first saw these AOA buses for OMF I thought, gee those colours are familiar.
Now I recall why - they're very close to the blue/white combination widely applied to Sydney buses, ferries and trains during the mid 1970s era of the Public Transport Commission of New South Wales.
One problem with the livery - the white does not stand up well to the day to day oily grime that invariably builds up on public transport vehicles. Hopefully the soiling of the pure white sheets featured on the Scania buses will lead to a quick withdrawal of the ads.

Vinyl has also been removed from the radiator grills...not a very smart place to stick it in the first place!
Keep forgetting to mention that 354 and 355 have had some repair work done to the AOA. New vinyl has been applied and the fleet numbers at the rear are white on the blue background now. Previously they cut a square out of the advertising to avoid covering the existing fleet numbers.
Also the lower corner on the front (below the smaller windows on each side) is now white.

By the look of Twitter action, it was today.
141 (reportedly along with 140 and 142) is in a Centenary Loop livery.
Would I be right in assuming this is the first AOA for the Darts?
Correct.
132-139 had 'Midi Bus' adverts on left, right and rear from the get-go (although I definitely recall 140-142 never had them). Not sure about 143-156 as these were initially at Belconnen but we've certainly got a couple of photos of buses in that range with those ads.
Anyone know if all three darts have the same livery?
Other than placement of fleet numbers, I believe they are all the same.
Thanks. Bit of a shame.
978 is back in corporate livery
More AOA reports: 108 has started to peel at the rear; expect 508 to have the front panels changed over this weekend.
ACTBusspotter reports two new AOA's have been applied today:
108 - Bus Advertising
418 - ActewAGL
Should be out by Monday. They were in the process of being applied today.
Has anyone managed to grab a photo of 108's new livery? I haven't come across it as yet.
394's Capitals livery has been refreshed. Near side completely changed: now has a black background with two players. Rear and off side have been updated with new sponsors' logos (including removal of Canberra 100), and the missing panel has been restored.
UPDATE: Players on near side are Abby Bishop (#4) and Natalie Hurst (#7). Lauren Jackson remains on the off side.

354 is still wearing its OMF advertising.
I got a very quick look at 391 this morning - looks rather good.
While I couldn't notice in a photo I saw, all I want is for it to show something like http://www.trickfitness.com.au/pole.php?1391422022402
It kinda does. Won't be long before there are complaints.
Oops. "Guaranteed" was misspelled on 391's AOA - there are stickers covering up the errant E, probably a temporary measure until it can be fixed.
Meanwhile, a new AOA should be revealed on 312 tomorrow.
312 and 330 sharing the same AOA

All Centenary Loop AOAs have been removed. 140-142 now back in Orange/Blue livery. 508 still carries Like Canberra.
Item in today's Canberra Times correctly observes that the Centenary of Canberra "year" doesn't actually finish until Canberra Day 2014....hence the Centenary Column on City Hill (designed to look like the never completed Commencement Column on Kurrajong Hill / Capital Hill) will be unveiled on Canberra Day this year.

Yes, it is "The Canberra Times" version of Domain.
There are at least two gas buses which have received this wrap; besides 349, the other is a low numbered bus, possibly 330 from memory.
The Domain AOA does include the website address, so it is advertising both.
The other T depot bus won't be 330: that's already being used.
Spotted the drivers side of Bus 414 today. It looks all right, but looks like a massive side ad with mostky the King O'Malleys logo.
I saw it on a 3 this morning and a 300 this arvo. I think the offside looks nicer, but agree that the logo is huge.
Wish they'd stop cutting a rectangle piece out for the fleet numbers. How hard is it to stick some white ones on top of the wrap?
Noticed another Tuggy bus receiving the all over wrap treatment on Friday evening (ugh!), this time the King O'Malley's advert...from memory it was bus 360 or 361.
Bus 361 has the King O'Malleys AOA.

Caught 414 today with the king omalleys aoa on a 52 towards city and first thing I noticed was the massive logo! The second thing I saw was the really really tacky cut out over fleet number!

Not a fan, Smitho?
Follow up tweet from ACTbusspotter tells us that 392 is in AOA for Little Oak Sanctuary, as is 365.
Make that 385 (although not confirmed). Based on this image from the Little Oaks Sanctuary newsletter:
Just passed 385....not in AOA, this must be a photoshop
Hence the "not confirmed". Thanks for the tip.
348 in AOA for Canberra Factory Outlet
393 AOA for Springbank Rise (subdivision).
A gas MAN (possibly 388 - but not 386) now has an AOA - not sure what for though - one of the words was "Wow" and it was a lime green sort of colour.
I passed the bricks last night and it was over near 860 ???
It's an advert for the refurbished Labor Club in Stirling....
Yes;, it is 388. The 'WOW" wording says "WOW Look at us now". (It's just begging for a photo with LWF.)
381 has received a wrap for Orana Steiner School. @traindriveriago photo:

I think that is the fugliest AOA I've ever seen!
381 looks...horrible!!! :'(
The AOA of 381 looks so chaotic!!!
Like all AOA wraps, it makes a good looking bus look like a horse float!!
Belongs at Tuggies!
The AOA is as attractive as the school
I swear I saw the Orana AOA on a CNG Scania on Wednesday. But I never caught up close enough to see the fleet number.
Saw one on the back of a L94UB, not an AOA.

108 seen parked at the back of B depot today with wrap removed in Floriade livery, Im guessing it will be re-sprayed or receive a new wrap shortly,
Has only taken 4 months, but 108 is in the process of being re-sprayed into (old) corporate livery.
Spotted a MAN diesel with advertising for '13SICK' on the side of it. Was an AOA mainly white in colour. Couldn't get close enough to grab the fleet number. No doubt someone will see it in service today, was on a 200 southbound when I saw it at around 730 at GMP
I believe 423 is in an AOA similar to that description. I couldn't make out what it said but I saw it on Hindmarsh at Callam (on an 3) on Tuesday around 1700). Thus leaving 349 and 422 in the"Domain" AOA.
423, National Home Doctor Service. Believe it was wrapped over the weekend.
Sure is, 423 is now in National Doctors Service, mostly white with very little bits of colours...
Look out for 374: now also in AOA for National Home Doctor Service.
383 is in AOA for the Vikings Club group.

One of the most hideous horse floats around at the moment. One Tuggy driver who copped it for his shift yesterday lamented that unlike his passengers, at least he didn't have to look at it!
Spotted Bus 383 in the WTF AOA, to describe to those who haven't seen it. Bus 383 has a lot of red & words like supporting the community.
The National Home Doctor AOA seems a bit bland. I prefer artwork with pictures & colours.
I don't mind the Home Doctors one. It's simple, but effective.
422 is back in ACTION livery. 349 was still in Domain earlier in the week but haven't seen it since.
Had a close look at 441 (Vikings Club) - it's not the same as the one on 383. 383's ad promotes the people Vikings employs, 441 promotes the local athletes they sponsor - and it depicts those athletes as though they were all crammed onto the bus.

So that's what was in the back window...
BUS.418 is out of its stolen AOA...Was running a 66 to Woden this morning.
A number of AOA buses (including 354 and 361) are sporting what appear to be newly applied rear end reflective tiger stripes - these buses are heavily camouflaged in dark, matte patterned adverts (National Patios and King O'Malley's) which give rise to night time conspicuous / visibility issues.

I actually quite like 441's AOA. I've only seen 383's once or twice so can't really comment on it
Spotted the 355 yesterday and today with it's allhomes ad looking horrible on the right. Many lower right hand side panels have probably been recently replaced and don't have it. wonder if the're gonna bother to fix it
Just saw an Iris on Win News in an AOA (the back seemed to still be in ACTION livery though) for Crimestoppers. Not sure of number...
Not AOA. Just side ad. (309 for anyone who needs to know.)

Thanks. Just looked like one from the angles shown (other than the mentioned part at the back). Ironic about the crimestoppers part especially with the history of the Irises and where they originated from...
In some parts of the USA, AOA is banned altogether while in Norway, bus operators cannot apply AOA wraps over windows because the regulatory authority there considers that wraps over windows pose safety hazards.
Anyone aware whether there are any Australian jurisdictions with similar restrictions or bans on AOA?
Exploring your options eh smitho? ;)
Not aware of any restrictions other than keeping the front doors and drivers window clear. Not sure about the window right next to the front doors?

Meanwhile, here's a bit of a different look at the AOA process - the proof of concepts for 441: http://vikingssquash.asn.au/vikingsCMS/node/801
It hasn't been mentioned here (on twitter I think it was) but 333 is in an AOA like 383 and 441 for the Vikings group...
And 349 back in ACTION green and Orange :) Now they just need to deal with cursed 348's AOA (If you haven't guessed, I hate this AOA as do a couple of drivers...this bus also seems to be everywhere I go...)
I like 348! Nice and colourful.
When no-one was paying attention, Bus 393's AOA was removed. It now features just a full-back ad for MS Miss Muddy.

374 has been like that since delivery, IIRC it is the only one where they did it like that.
As seen here, fleet number is the same position on both sides.
367 now in another Vikings AOA. Something to do with there always being a spot for you at various points of the clubs (e.g. at the bar :P)

374 also deserves the "most sluggish bus of the MAN fleet" award....for some reason, it is really slow and sluggish at present.
Certainly wasn't like that when it was the new kid on the block.
Sighted another new AOA at a distance - for Metal Mart. It was a CNG bus, but that's all I could tell.

Bus 432 sighted in a new AOA for Civium Strata. Was on 343N thru civic at 3:30pm

There was no previous AOA - just some MAN decals.

I think I have just such a photo somewhere
And it was reported in the wiki but not here, 446 has a new AOA for Animals Australia..which means no more of its previous AOA...I liked that one :(
EDIT: I don't like the new AOA for 446 too much. Too boring...too much space where there is nothing...but still, not really an improvement from 432...which is only just better (the green bits on that one help). But I suppose they designed it that way for a reason...hate to be looking for 446 in the dark though (if it had no lights on)...

Similar. Just different bits have been removed. Looks somewhat neater on 977, with just the windows and orange panel bare.
For those oldies not on Twitter, here's a photo of Bus 977(https://www.actbus.net/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Ftapatalk.imageshack.com%2Fv2%2F15%2F03%2F05%2Ff15dd43785f22edde75fc8d741bbdfe7.jpg&hash=c44c458405ef05fc927ac83724844573a8f2d52a)
It's only the off side - AOA still fully intact on the near side.
I don't like 977 having the white panel at the back too >:(
But agreed it looks better than 978 did...how long will the remains of the AOA last now though???

I posted that on Thursday. Does "quite a while now" really describe a period of a maximum of four days?
Considering that Abode Tuggeranong opened in 2012. When I completed my delivery in the Winter of 2012, I consider that the good old days.
Doing the delivery was soo scary, I'll never forget it. It's off topic, but I did take some scenic photos while on the top floor balcony.

The Ad has been there only a week or so. It didn't have it to start with when the AOA went.
413 has also lost its allhomes wrap.

Not imagining it. But I didn't mention it because I didn't think the AOA would be remaining for much longer. It's now over 1 year old.
Report on twitter that 390 has had its missing panels replaced.
354 out of AOA. One of the Belco field vans too has a new livery covering windows too this time. Like 539s livery just without the euro 6 stuff...and on a Toyota hiace. ..

Bus 355 now on the right-hand side of it, has had some of the ALLHOMES livery ripped off. I didn't get to see the left side of it though.
Left hand side (near side) and rear of 355 fully intact.
Another AOA removal: 461.
And a new AOA for John McGrath JMC is on 554.

Is that predominantly black with red? If so, I saw it yesterday morning for fleetwiki dates.
AOA has been removed from 446
Bus 355 no longer carries the ALLHOMES AOA wrap.
313 has also had the All Homes AOA removed.
441 has lost its Vikings AOA
As was expected, the TBL back panel on 511 has been replaced by a Big Bash panel.
Not an ACTION AOA - Murrays MO320 has a wrap for the Tom Roberts exhibition at NGA.
551 has received an AOA for Embrace Orthodontists.
How long is a usual AOA applied for? 414 and maybe 419 seem to have been on for longer than usual..., both of which I have seen in the past few days?

462 also in Embrace Orthodontists AOA.
Some mechanics are on a ladder tending to the rear of BUS.540s AOA right now. Maybe a new back design? (again?)
Mechanics don't do the AOAs.
Might be removing part of it if something underneath it needs to be worked on?

Bus 540 was in service this morning on a 30.
Can't rule out 540 having its AOA removed.
One of the guys I know to be a mechanic. The other few I have no clue. They had the orange high vis though. 540 is still in AOA now with those who were working on her now with 397.
Go Transit's people, probably
540 is still in AOA for Haus Models. But there have been a few subtle changes.
And while not strictly on-topic, 397 has a new rear ad for Next Gen.
367 is out of its Vikings AOA
This week the BBL rear panel on 511 was replaced with an ad for I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.
Next change due in six weeks.
Bus 432 is now out of its AOA.
Bus 350 is now also out of its AOA.

587 and 432 both received new AOAs over the weekend.

Since it has not been mentioned and yet to be reflected in fleetwiki, 460's AOA (which I saw just minutes before Bus 503's post) is for curijo.com.au
429 is now in AOA for Plush (sofas)
341 seen this arvo appears to be in AOA for Baptist care (I only saw one side but the ad covered the whole side from the back all the way to the front)
Yep. 591 also has AOA for Baptist Care.
566 seen in AOA for Jamala Wildlife Lodge at 4:55pm
554 is now in an AOA for the National Zoo and Aquarium and 589 is in an AOA for Carpet One (although it doesn't have an ad on the back).
I would assume 554's AOA is the same as 566 as Jamala Lodge is based at the Zoo
Correction: the two National Zoo / Jamala Lodge AOAs are different. Similar designs though.
A few weeks late, but Bus 511 has now been changed to advertise Nine instead of Ten. Ads are for Nine News, A Current Affair and Today.

Best to consult with the Fleetwiki for those questions — you'll be able to see how long other buses have had their AOA on for and make a judgment from there on how long you think the AOA will last.
Your questions has also been discussed here on this thread — if you scroll up to the top of this thread and the bottom of page 6 of this thread you should be able to find the answer.

I note 348 has been marked as having its AOA removed in the last few days on fleetwiki, without a date.
I have a photo of 348 out of AOA on the 12/9/16 if that helps in any way
413 had lost its AOA as of this afternoon, I photographed it in AOA on the 14th and I'm pretty sure it was yesterday morning that I was staring at it at Woden in AOA while having to wait for ages for a bus
On a side note, both 360 and 462 are missing quite a bit from the sides
And this afternoon 413 had a part-applied new AOA, orangy-yellow. The side windows (both sides) and the strip of panels above the windows have been done (spanning the whole length of the bus and hence an AOA) but the rear side and the panels underneath the side windows are yet to be done. It mentions something about promises but I can't tell what the ad is for, it is probably in the unapplied portion

Thanks KoB. Before someone jumps in and asks or shakes their head in disgust, yes, I did check fleetwiki, and it was not reflected in the fleet summary. When I later noticed it was mentioned on the homepage, I couldn't edit my post.
403 is now in an AOA for Throsby through the LDA. The AOA is blue/aqua.
330 has lost its AOA recently. Last known sighting was maybe Friday last week.
514 has acquired a new AOA. What is interesting about it is that it seems to be advertising something different on all 3 sides
*Bean & Grain, Fyshwick/Dickson on the nearside
*Schlich Haus on the rear
*The Drawing Room on the driver's side
The Drawing Room ad is only on the trailer section. The front portion advertises MBS Housing.
So that's 4 separate ads. It qualifies as a "wrap", but does it count as an AOA?
I was just about to post a correction, noticing that today. I'm guessing its a first of its kind?
I briefly sighted what I think is a new AOA on a Euro 6- did not get number. It could be a new one for Phillip Swimming & Ice Skating Centre, because it had the phrase 'Beat the Summer heat' on it. So keep an eye out for 419 whose AOA it could replace and this light blue AOA. Hope these details are right.
That will be 578 in the new Phillip Pool AOA.
419 was still in AOA yesterday.

407 was in full wrap 21/2/17. Yesterday (24/2/17), it only had the ad on both side windows and the back door.
Either its has had extensive panel repairs (after all, significant chunks of panels had been eaten out of 407 and 500), it's getting rewrapped, or it is in the process of being removed.
Such a shame because I really loved the ad, it must have been one of the best of the recent ones. And its only been in existence for <3 weeks :(
Lock in "B".
You wouldn't remove an AOA only to leave the window ads in place.
Also, the other two recent AOAs (500 & 540) have had the same thing happen - as have many recent standard advertising panels (such as for Winning Appliances).
I can only assume there was some production fault with the vinyl and it's been removed to prevent (further) damaging the bus paintwork.
Suggestion "A" I just had to make because it took me way too long to realise the 'exposed metal bus components' of the ad was actually meant to be bite marks :-[
Suggestion "C" I made because the day when 413 acquired its new AOA it was driving around with only the windows and above on either side wrapped, so they might have been half way through removing the ad and then the bus drove off?
But if 500 and 540 (which were both intact a few days ago) have had that happen then that makes sense...
540 was still windows only (saw only right hand side), but 500 had the whole ad below the window but not above (saw only right hand side)- Based off Barry Drive's comments I take it reapplication has begun.
407*, 500 & 540 AOAs now re-applied. (With acknowledgement to King of Buses for the 500 sighting.)
* 407 is still missing the wrap above the window line, but presumably this will be applied tonight or over the weekend.
I note 319's new AOA does not cover the windows.
I haven't seen 315 yet- is that the same?
I don't recall any AOAs that didn't include the window. Is this a new GoTransit thing (windowless option for a cheaper cost- why they'd do that I don't know since they can't use the windows for another ad), a mistake, or just them taking forever to supply the part of the ad for windows?
At first I didn't think so, but now I believe the 319 AOA is meant to look like that. The slogan at the back says "there for any human", so the intention is that people inside the bus provide the bodies. (A bit like the Australian Posters AOA on 261.)
Only problem is, it doesn't work. Would have suited a PR100.2 better.

Outback Jacks (440?) is the most recent one. Many of the earlier Renault ones didn't have windows covered either but that was in the pre vinyl days.
853/Canberra Cannons is another example where the AOA had headless bodies under the windows
461 in AOA for CHC
"CHC Australia". Same (or similar) AOA has been sighted on 402.
So 406 and 500 are in AOA for realestate.com.au

Yeah, that's 440.
378 is in AOA for Solatube
587 retains the nearside AOA but has a new and what appears to be completely separate ad on the rear. Did not see drivers side.
At what point does an AOA become not an AOA. Does 385 still count even though it's completely lost its rear? And what of 587. Would it make a difference whether the side I didn't see retains it or not, or is the fact it's had a separate ad replace part of its AOA enough to void its AOA status?
At last sighting, 587 was still like that - with a different ad on the rear but the remainder of the AOA on both sides. Perhaps they don't have the resources to remove the AOA at the moment.
Meanwhile 403 has received the new version of the Transport Canberra AOA. (So they are able to remove them if they are being replaced.) This wrap has also been applied to 491.
Buses 330, 339, 354, 410, and 429 are all in AOA for Floriade.
319 sighted this afternoon in Menulog AOA (Saw 319's Amart AOA in the distance yesterday afternoon - and fleetwiki says it was removed yesterday, so that matches up)
I wonder how long until the AOA on Bus 511 will change, with one of the presenters (Lisa Wilkinson) for the Today show no longer presenting.
Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk
They need to hire a permanent replacement first. I'd give it about six months (for the AOA to be changed, not for a replacement).
Slightly off topic, but we still need a photo of the current "Today" side of 511 - without Steve Jacobs.
Meanwhile, "The Drawing Room" restaurant/café/bar at Crace was converted to a Bean & Grain quite some time ago - the AOA on 514 hasn't changed.

387 is in a new AOA for H&M, opening soon I believe it said.
A pretty poor AOA given that it took a very hard look to work out what it was for, no good being able to tell that they have clothing for $19 if you don't know where. A tiny red logo on a orange background.

306 is in AOA for Callida Consulting
Forgot to mention, bus 500 was out of AOA by 1 Feb
589 also out of AOA by this afternoon (4:15pm)
In the past two months, 14 AOAs have been removed and just one installed (refer to Fleetwiki if you want to know which).
Another one (413) is likely to be removed soon (if it hasn't already).
In order, the oldest AOAs are: 581 582 554 566 448 and 578 - all are over one year old.
Bus 578 is now out of AOA
More AOA removals, notably 378 582 & 390.
Next removals might be 547, 403, 491 (coming up to 1 year), 554 & 566 (coming up to 2 years), 422 & 561 (coming up to 3 months).
422 561 403 & 547 have been removed. Not sure whether 491 was also removed - haven't seen it.

The AOA List (http://www.actbus.net/fleetwiki/index.php?title=AOA_List) on fleetwiki has been slightly altered so that recent removals are highlighted (in yellow).
For those who've missed it, all of the previously expected removals have occurred: including 491 554 & 566. 319 has been updated to a new "American Masters" exhibition at NGA - the ad features Warhol's Soup Cans (https://nga.gov.au/warhol/details/126133.cfm) (exhibition commences 24 August: worth a look and it's free!)
AOAs coming up to 12 months in August are: 436 406 & 315; also 710 712 & 379 but these are unlikely to be removed.
Only got a brief glimpse but 443 appears to have a new AOA with Trevor Dickinson on it - maybe for his CMAG exhibition (which I haven't had the chance to get out to yet!)
Yes it is for that, it was on WIN News tonight, ACT Bus Facebook page also shared a video of it on London Cct earlier today.
I noticed today an Irisbus Agoraline in all over advertising for CatholicCare; I did not notice the fleet number, but it was operate the below trip.
(714) 16:53 City Bus Station to Fraser West Terminus
It is my assumption that advertisers must choose Irisbus vehicles for their AOA due to the cheapness; as they are the least used vehicles in the fleet, it must cost less to put an advertisement on them, as it would receive the least exposure.
Advertisers generally won't choose a vehicle, but rather a size/type of ad, presumably the advertising company would then see what vehicles are available and the design for the ad (if it's an AOA) may be changed slightly based on what type of bus it is going on, as different bodies will have minor differences such as positioning of grills, window lines etc. They wouldn't walk in and ask for an irisbus specifically, they would pay for the length of the ad as well as the size of the ad, its just bad luck if its on a bus that isn't on the road much.

It certainly is. On Monday just after Trevor's 'artist talk' at the exhibition, he showed me a small image of it. Could've sworn I saw 402, but later that day I saw 402, and it definitely didn't have it. He said it should be on there for about 3 months.

Sighted 498 yesterday in AOA for Healthier Work ACT.
511 is out of its AOA, though it still has a bit of blue just above the windows on the driver's side of the bus.
Recent removals:
303 339 406
Expected potential removals:
301 360 (All homes)
441 (CIT)
443 (CMAG)
566 (National Museum)
508 516 521 (Healthier Work)
New AOAs have recently appeared for: National Capital Exhibition (463) and Charnwood Early Learning Centre (437 & 553).
511 has recently updated to change the frequently updated rear panel - bus is now advertising just Nine News Canberra.
306 is in AOA for Brindabella Christian College.
306 is another Charnwood Early Learning Centre AOA. It has been joined by 544 & 586. Enough already.
434 now in AOA for CIT.
329 and 398 now in AOAs for AllHomes.
443 still wrapped in the Bunker Shelter exhibition AOA as of today, too.
May be slightly off topic (as far as the ACT is concerned), but State Transit have wrapped 2569ST, one of their Scania K280UB/Custom CB80 buses (the one with the trial orange LED Hanover desto, funnily enough), in a livery rather similar to 379/400, except with "Ride with Pride" as the slogan down the side. I suspect it *may* mean 400 might not be making a trip to Sydney this year (for Mardi Gras, anyway).

508 was finally removed this week, but 443 still hasn't been (although my last sighting was last weekend). 442 hasn't been seen at all recently.
The next one due for removal (after 332) will be 428 which hits 12 months in June.
I saw 443 on Friday, still had the same wrap.
547 AOA was removed - for about a day - then reapplied (last weekend).
Wraps have also come off 423 428 & 461 & 540 in recent weeks. The remaining BCC AOAs (549 & 581) may be removed this weekend or next week.
The only other AOA coming up to 12 months old is 425.

The rear panel of 549 has been replaced by ActewAGL but both sides are still fully intact - so technically still in AOA.
I think I saw 425 yesterday in a green AOA for a company called Alliance, or something similar.
I saw 425 briefly yesterday and again today: can confirm its new AOA is for Alliance Leasing.
549 has finally been removed.
And two new Carpet One (so far) on 308 & 540.
Does anyone have any idea what will happen (and when it will happen) when 400's AOA is removed?
Will TC paint it all blue or just leave it green with a blue front?
Probably leave it blue fronted or change the panels back to green.
First question is whether the AOA/Special Livery on 400 will be removed (ever).
I don't see any need for this to happen. Presumably they paid for the production and application of the wrap, but don't incur any ongoing fees.
In AOA news, 436 has been de-wrapped.
496 is now wrapped in a Beaumont Tiles AOA D/R to Lanyon to start a Northbound 80.
Followed an unidentified ACTION bus today. Visible from my bus was a driving school advertisement on the rear with a prominent realistic looking 'L' incorporated. Must be very close to being illegal, as road rules require 'Ls' are not to be displayed when the driver is not under instruction.

That would be 381 or a couple of Belconnen MANs. But the Ls on it are located on the top right of the ad no where near where it should be placed if they are using a sign not the rear desto if fitted to the bus.
Media has recently published the cost to advertisers. See The Riotact, published on-line Sat 15th July.
Buses
Agent is Go Transit and charges range from $375 install + $125/week for Landscape Poster on rear or Portrait Poster on side;
to $10,000 install + $600/week for a Full Wrap.
Some advertisers with adverts on multiple buses must be forking out a fair bit. eg Brindabella College's substantial outlays have been remarked upon in recent media reporting.
The full option range in ascending cost is Landscape Poster, Portrait, Twin Portrait, Full Back, Mini Superside, Showcase, Megaside and Full Wrap. There is also an interior rate.
Light Rail
Torch Media is agent and charges range for a minimum of 4 weeks with $15,000 install + $3,430/4weeks for an 8 panel portrait;
to (gasp) $40,000 install + $16,610/4weeks for a full wrap.
The full option range in ascending cost is Portrait, Megaside, Window Wrap, Triple Carriage Wrap, and Full Wrap. There are also an interior rate and a backlit station rate.
There was no indication that advertisers could select any class of or particular vehicle. One might imagine that a discount would apply to a vehicle temporarily out of service for repairs, etc.
Whilst many vehicles look best without ads, and window wraps are a pain for passengers (and greeters/farewellers), particularly in wet weather, it is hard to ignore the income generated.
Indeed.
These are Go Transit for 2017 and even then some of those price options woof.

All Brindabella Christian College AOAs have been removed from the Volgren artics, although a few still have partial ads remaining on the rear.
So nice to see them like that again, those college ads are such an eyesore.

I only just realised when I saw 675 yesterday just how nice the Volgren artics look without the ads on them. Nice to see them in their original form again
