Title: Leaky Buses
Post by: Bus 400 on June 30, 2009, 08:38:00 PM
Does anyone know of any buses that leak?

I found out that MAN Bus 384 was leaking & more leaks started forming on the run from Belconnen to Tuggeranong. I did point it out to the driver.

100.3s usually leak around the roof hatches, and touch the rear window of a 100.2, chances are there'll be water on the inside of the window.

Define what you mean by 'leaking'. What is leaking and from where?

All air-conditioned buses will appear to leak, but this is normal (as long as it's coming from the air-conditioner). If the leak is green or brown/black then there's a problem!

Water was running down on the inside of the bus where the side of the bus meets the curvy bit. I actually saw & felt the water & there were little "channels" of water running along the ground inside the bus. I have been in a Dart when the exact same thing happened.
