Title: 148, back in business baby!
Post by: Irisbus Rider on August 25, 2009, 10:09:32 PM
Yes, returning to our roads is 148.
Most of you all would probably remember the little incident a while back - http://actbus.net/forum/index.php?topic=949.0 (http://actbus.net/forum/index.php?topic=949.0) - Well, 148 has been fixed up, and was reported back in service about a week ago, and I've finally gotten photos of it!

A chance meeting in the City West layover allowed me to get these quick snaps (nothing spectacular)

Apparently is looks newish inside as well. But this source also was surprised how noisy it from the inside. This source is an ACTION driver but had a day off recently.

They haven't done a bad job at re-painting it. It looks just like new.... no orange stickers!

Just looking at these pics again, I'm surprised they used the old logo. I'm sure they could have put the new green logo on that orange.

green on orange looks crap. if they ever put the new logo on the older vehicles I would say they'd be white.
