As mentioned on my twitter feed (twitter.com/ACTbusspotter), the six bus stops along Nettlefold and College Streets served by route 44 have been re-installed.
That is good to hear, around the time of the route changes I saw a new bus stop pole on Nettleford Street, but it was missing its blade. When were this stops un-installed?
These stops were first installed for Network 98 when routes 213/313 and 41 travelled along Nettlefold/College Streets. Not sure exactly when this changed, but the 1999 timetable for 41 showed the route going back to Cohen Street; the 2000 timetable for 13/313 also shows it travels along Cohen St, but I'm sure that the route was changed at the same time as 41. The bus stop 'blades' were removed but the poles remained.
So it was ten years that the poles stood without bus stop blades (except for one near Oatley Court which had been removed and is now back).
