The blokes at Belconnen are going to love driving those around the depot.

Looks good! Does this mean we should be receiving it in the next few weeks?

Can't wait to see these out and about!

Nevertheless, being a Scania, they will be pieces of shit no doubt.

The 14.5's are actually quite nice, however the custom coaches one's do seem particularly heavy whereas the volgren one's cruise well thanks to their lightweight bodies.

They will go fine around town you will just notice they struggle on steep inclines due to their low horsepower and weight.

Really, it's torque (the get up and go) that it lacks. The K320 has 1600Nm, whereas the Volvo B12BLE has 1700Nm.

And the tailswing on that thing is going to be horrendous! There'll be constant scratches and marks up the back corners of these!

There's hardly any tail swing on the steer tags, drivers just need to remember that they are driving a steer tag and they will have no problems. When you go from a normal bus into one of those thats when you hit everything.

A steer tag will have more tail swing than any other bus on the road Mr Busnerd. The whole point of the steering rear axle is to recuce cut in on the turns, which means it has to force the rear of the bus further out, hence increased tail swing area.

These buses will be an issue, particularly at Belconnen depot as it will be hard to get them to clear the sheds. There will also be issues with buses turning out at full lock and striking bins/bus stops/other street furniture. Once they have been here a while i'm sure they will settle in, just hope they have plenty of spare rear corners when they first arrive.

Well yes more tail swing but a tighter turn all up, I know what I'm thinking i just can't explain it.

I'm not a fan of the green colour scheme, it looks even worse on the 14.5m. They should have done something different with it to make it stand out more.

I think a yellow or red livery would have looked nice :)
