Title: Platform 9 @ Tuggy Interchange
Post by: smitho on May 03, 2010, 08:35:57 PM
Noticed today what I take to be a new sign "Platform 9 - Charters", located on the footpath at right angles to Platform 8.

So they have finally signed platform number 9? Sweet. Will check it out when next in Tugg.

I wonder if it is due to an ACTION Chartered bus coming to grief at Platform 6?

The platform 6 sign is no longer there.

I was in Tuggeranong Interchange this afternoon and the Platform 6 sign was definitely there. I made a point to check after reading this post last night.

There was talk that it was going to be raised to avoid any future conflict with gas bus pods - so may be it was removed yesterday and re-applied today.

The platform 6 sign had been removed but has now been replaced and the brackets holding it up were re-positioned to enable it to be moved away from danger. The sign on platform 5 has also been re-positioned slightly and is now straight.

In other news, the Brumbies shuttles tonight still departed from platform 8.
