By "Mercs" you mean O305s, right? Because Perth's fleet is mainly Mercs: O405s and O500s.
According to www.perthbus.info (http://www.perthbus.info), they have 4 O305s and 22 O305Gs (of which 4 date back to 1979 with the O307 header, and the rest have the VOV header from about 1986).
