Wow. That's more extensive than I was aware of. I'm considering taking a 981 on Saturday to check out Scrivener - maybe that won't happen after all...
Lady Denman Drive was only closed while the 5 gates on Scrivener Dam were open. Tony Gill from Roads ACT said on 666 it had to do with the spray coming off the outflow.
I thought it would be open again by now since it actually stopped raining (!) so I caught my 981. Even with only one gate open today at Scrivener, you could still feel a spray while standing on the viewing platform on the far side opposite the zoo, and it wasn't even that windy. Poor old Lake, it's so brown!!
