Title: Canberra Airport Spotting 04/01/2011-Part 1

Here are the first ten from the 4th, this will be a three part series.

First up one of Virgin Blue's soon to be gone E170s is seen on finals for runway 35, this one VH-ZHC "Irrasista Blue" was the third delivered. These 6 aircraft have been sold and will depart the airline as new turbo props (possibly ATR-72s) come online mid way through this year.

Another E170, this one the second to be delivered, VH-ZHB "Brazilliant Blue". This aircraft was involed in a multiple lightning strike incident on a flight to Mildura last year in which it was struck 32 times resulting in some of the rivets sticking up.

Qantaslink Dash 8-Q400 VH-QOC is seen landing on a flight from Brisbane, this was the 3rd of it's type in the Qantaslink fleet and is one of six  to feature the older style of Kangaroo.

Dash 8-Q400 VH-QOE pokes it's rear out whilst undergoing heavy maintenance at Canberra, more on this later.

Qantas Boeing 737-476 VH-TJU "Currawong " is seen taxiing to the runway with another 737-476 arriving at the gate behind.

Last of all another e170 is seen landing on runway 35, this one is the 5th of 6, VH-ZHE "Bee Bop-a-blue"
