Is he serious?

This quote implies that (A) ALL old ticketing machines have been removed (which they have not) and ( B ) the ticket machines which have been removed were done so BECAUSE of the impending arrival of the new system (which is also not correct).

But don't let the truth get in the way of political point-scoring.
