ACTION GM James Roncon has dismissed fears that the operator was planning to cut the number of mechanics it employed.
The Manufacturing Workers Union said maintenance workers will begin the campaign with bans on overtime, and also said its members were frustrated that there has been no progress on negotiating a new enterprise bargaining agreement to replace one that expired a year ago.
Mr Roncon told Radio Network News that negotiations were going well.
How about an increase so we actually have enough buses to do all the runs alleged by the timetable.
