I wonder how they will extend Wiluna st, I work on said street, they must mean Newcastle street as that is planned to be extended through part of the wetlands

Extend other side of Ipswich St towards the Markets precinct. This could be where the new railway station will be located.

Understand that site for new station & railway museum has not yet been settled, just various options explored.

Hopefully when they put the new Museum in they transform it into something that is similar to Trainworks or Workshops Museum, where they have a large, open floor plan as well as a covered display hall. Having it double as a running museum with areas to store running rollingstock, and having a workshop as well will be the difficult part when it comes to space. I am hoping the ACT Government consider all options, and they don't ruin the working portion of the museum. Workshops Museum was a great idea in Ipswich, it incorporates the old workshops buildings which are the museum, and then they have the working workshops at the back which are still run by QueenslandRail for their heritage fleet (Still staffed by QueenslandRail staff, who are trained for restoration tasks on steam and diesel locos).

One of the (favoured?) site options was badly flooded in the early months of this year.
