944 was in partially stripped down state on Tuggeranong Bricks this morning...some seats and window surround fittings removed.

Did it have the MyWay equipment still?

I didn't look to check, but by the overall state of the bus, I'd say not.

The ticketing equipment is often removed when buses will be off the road for more than a few days. The best indication that the bus will not be returning to service is the removal of the two-way radio.

Smitho (or Ed), can you check to see if 944 still has its radio?

Drove past today and saw 944 parked out on the Reed St side of the workshops. Couldn't see any obvious missing bits or pieces, but certainly an odd place for a bus to be on a Sunday.

The door/flap under the drivers window was open too.

It was there yesterday as well.

Checked out Tuggy bricks a few times this week to assess 944s stripping, but it was not there on either occasion; assume the hulk has been despatched for scrapping.

It could be in a workshop or even at B depot. If it has been scrapped, it would have to break the record for quickest bus scrapping and disposal.
