Feedback on the Canberra Avenue bus priority measures has now opened - and closes 3 August 2012.

Main outcomes of project will be:
- Dedicated on road bus lane and bus priority at traffc lights on Newcastle Street and Ipswich Street
- New signalised pedestrian crossing at Geelong Street
- Enhanced pedestrian network including additional footpaths to Narrabundah and the Canberra Eye Hospital (Amtech estate)
- Screen planting will be undertaken to screen Canberra Avenue for residents of Narrabundah and Canberra South Motor Park
- New major bus stop with bicycle facilities near Canberra Eye Hospital
- Improved pedestrian access to service road on north side of Canberra Avenue
- On-road cycle lane to improve commuter cycling experience along Canberra Avenue
- Enhanced lighting for pedestrian footpath and cycle lanes.
