Title: Summernats 2013
Post by: smitho on January 06, 2013, 10:05:48 PM
Carried a modest number of Summernats patrons on three 950 series services I operated today.

I gather that ACTION artics were supplied for shuttle services to/from EPIC on other days, but appears none operated today

Correct, they ran 10:00 to 00:00 on Saturday & 22:00 to 00:00 on Friday. From my observations, each depot provided buses.

But of course as the FREE bus pulled into EPIC, people were still trying to jump on a route service & pay $2-4.

May be it was the attraction of a cool green bus in the very hot weather....

Not when the charter bus was a new Scania artic. But in their defence, passengers either already had a daily ticket or wanted to transfer - so they would need to pay a fare anyway.
