Transport for Canberra have announced that bus fares will rise from 4 February.
Increase is 5% on most fares, with the new cash fares being $2.10 and $4.20; daily tickets will be $4.00 and $8.00

In addition to raising the base fares, the monthly trip cap has increased to 40 trips (30 for School Students) and a MyWay card initial fee of $5.00 and $2.50 concession/student will apply (faulty cards will be replaced for free, but replacing "damaged" cards will incur the fee).
I wonder with changes to the Monthly trip cap, wether MyWay will make it on the Like Canberra Top 100 now?
Have had a few punters stop me in the street to ask whether you can now only travel with ACTION if you have a MyWay card.
Pity that impression seems to be around the traps. Could be quite a turn-off for potential passengers.
