Title: Lots of birds at Kinlyside
Post by: Buzz Killington on March 16, 2013, 04:54:20 PM
So many so - and rare ones too - that the Government may just fence the entire suburb off and adding it to a nature reserve.

Parts of Taylor and Jacka may also receive the same treatment.

This follows on from news a while back that Throsby will be a lot smaller than first planned, owing to rare flora and fauna in the suburb.

The way I read it is the ACT Conservation Council (which isn't government but is a lobby group) have written a report and are asking the the government to fence it off and leave it alone. Bit different to what the 2nd para says.
