Title: anyone know the GCM of a PR100.1 ????
Post by: Gadgets on May 26, 2013, 01:43:22 PM
Does anyone know what the Gross Combination Mass on the Pr100's is???

Looking at fitting a towbar to mine (ex 814) so i can tow a car trailer behind it.

I have checked the compliance plate and cant see it  (unless i had a boy look ;-) )

Cheers

It may not have a GCM as the chassis may not be rated for towing. You may have some difficulty in finding a place to mount a tow bar to that would pass an engineers certificate as there isn't a whole lot of strong metal in the back of the engine bay.

i was thinking the rear cross member would of been strong enough as it holds up the motor, i will have to enquire with my engineer.

cheers
