Title: Parkes Way Tunnel
Post by: Buzz Killington on April 21, 2008, 05:13:09 PM
I drive to and from work along Parkes Way, and a random thought i've had recently - do those "LANE CLOSED" neon signs above the entrance, or the "SLOW, CAUTION, STOP" signs on the medium strips ever get used?

To my recollection, i've never actually seen them in use.. any photos of them in use, anyone?

obviously they're only used if there's accidents or maintenance in the tunnel but yeah...

Ha ha, I doubt it. It's way too short for anything to happen, it's just cotton wool Canberra striking again.....
