QuoteA driver has died after his car hit a tree in southern Canberra this morning.
The accident happened about 3:30am on Yarra Glen in Hughes.
Police are not sure what caused the accident and have not formally identified the driver.
Motorists have been advised to avoid the area or use overpasses via Carruthers Street.
The man's death brings the ACT road toll to seven for the year.
