Title: Queensland Rail, BT Ferries and Oasis-Jupiters Monorail

This is the first of a series of some photos from my trip with the girls (Mathew and Leigh) to Brisbane.

QR Citytrain SMU 260
QR's newest SMU's are the 260 series, and are constructed in Maryborough by EDI Rail.

QR Citytrain IMU 160
The IMU 160's are the newest IMU's in the fleet and are identical to the SMU, however these trains feature a toilet and Bag Racks.

IMU 176 is seen passing through Moorooka on a Brisbane Airport bound service

QR Citytrain EMU
The EMU was Brisbane's first electric powered multiple units. They are being refurbished currently by EDI Rail in Maryborough, with the refurbished sets nicknamed 'Bandicoots'

EMU 69 is seen heading towards Ferny Grove via Brisbane City at Rocklea. EMU 69 and its sister unit is a permanent 6 car unit

EMU 38 is seen heading south towards Beenleigh at Rocklea

QR Traveltrain Tilt Train
Introduced in the mid 90's, the Tilt Train replaced the Spirit of Capricorn service operated by ICE Trains. The Tilt Train was built by Walkers (EDI Rail) Masryborough.

QR Tilt Train 'City of Maryborough' (Named after the town the trains were constructed) is seen here at Bundaberg Station on a southbound Brisbane service. I was up in Car A, so aplogies for the half shaded photo!

2 Second Generation CityCats cross paths outside the Riverside CityCat terminal near the Story Bridge. The CityCat in the Foreground is named Meeandah and was introduced in Feb 2008

Oasis-Jupiters Monorail

some good shots Todd. I remember riding the Tllt Train a number of years ago, they're quite nice when they're not de-railing..
